**Duties and Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct thorough inspections, quality checks, and acceptance verifications on AH-64D/E armament and electrical systems to ensure all maintenance actions comply with Army maintenance standards and applicable TMs.
+ Perform complex troubleshooting, fault isolation, and system diagnostics on armament subsystems, and related fire control and electrical systems.
+ Review, verify, and sign off on aircraft maintenance forms, inspection records, and DA 2408-series documents in accordance with establish DA regulations and company Quality Assurance (QA) procedures.
+ Provide expert-level technical guidance, mentorship, and assistance to armament and electrical technicians during maintenance and inspection processes.
+ Coordinate with production, engineering, and quality personnel to resolve technical discrepancies, identify root causes, and implement corrective actions.
+ Ensure all maintenance and inspection activities are performed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with environmental and HAZMAT handling regulations.
+ Support continuous improvement initiatives within the Quality Control section to enhance compliance, safety, and operational effectiveness.
+ Assist in maintaining compliance with ISO, DCMA, and U.S. Army Aviation standards as defined in AR 750-1 and contract-specific requirements.
+ Perform the receiving, in-process, final quality, flight safety inspections and functional operational tests during organizational, intermediate and depot level maintenance, modification and repair of military tactical aircraft systems or associated components.
+ Approve or reject work accomplished by field team members to ensure compliance with customer specifications, standards and technical data.
+ Review and approve locally developed procedures and solutions to complex repair situations.
+ Perform analysis of defects and interprets quality control rejection and failure trends.
+ Monitor safety, training, and certification requirements.
+ Using checklists, perform daily work site Safety Inspections and Foreign Object Damage Inspections.
+ Monitor tool control programs, inspects and maintains records to ensure that measuring and test equipment meets calibration requirements.
+ Maintain Quality, Safety, Training and Certification Records.
+ Coordinate with the Customer Quality Assurance Representative concerning quality matters, mandatory inspection points and final acceptance inspection of contract end items or services.
+ Inspect forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
+ Perform other qualified duties as assigned.
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
+ Shall have Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience.
+ FAA A&P or FCC Elements 1 and 3 Required.
+ Must possess (FAA) A&P Certificate with at least One (1) year of experience inspecting assigned Mission Design Series ( **MDS AH-64** ) aircraft.
+ If No A&P (FCC Elements 1 and 3 required); with the FCC License candidate have a minimum Five (5) years of experience as an Aircraft Inspector on the Mission Design Series ( **MDS AH-64)** airframe they will be inspecting.
+ FAA IA - Inspection Authorization strongly preferred.
+ If no IA, shall have a minimum Five (5) years of experience as an Aircraft Inspector (TI) on the MDS **AH-64** airframe they will be inspecting.
+ Must be able to obtain and maintain facility credentials/authorization**NAC-I T1 Public Trust. Note: **US Citizenship** is required for a facility credentials/authorization at the work location.
+ Interim NACI approval required for deployment.
+ Valid US Passport Required for deployment to Germany.
**Germany Specific:**
+ TESA Approval: (German Govt) Must be able to qualify for TESA approval; with 5 years career total Aviation maintenance experience.
+ Travel: As required in support of task order.
**Knowledge & Skills**
+ Possess good communication skills; be adaptable, diversified and capable of troubleshooting entire aircraft system.

SAIC is seeking a qualified and experienced **Black Hawk Instructor Pilot - Latvia** to provide flight instruction and simulation training for the Black Hawk Aircrew Trainer ( BAT ) in **Lielvārde, Latvia.**
NOTE: This position is an Instructor Operator role for UH-60M Simulator
**Responsibilities:**
+ Conduct flight and simulator instruction in accordance with approved syllabi, Army regulations (AR 95-1, TC 3-04.11), and FAA/DoD guidelines.
+ Deliver classroom and mission planning instruction in topics such as systems, emergency procedures, NVG operations, tactical flight, and mission execution.
+ Evaluate pilot proficiency and provide performance assessments and remediation as needed.
+ Evaluate pilot proficiency in instrument flight and be able to conduct Instrument Flight Evaluations.
+ Maintain training records, lesson plans, and instructional materials in compliance with company and government standards.
+ Support development and updating of standard operating procedures (SOPs), risk assessments, and safety briefings.
+ Provide input on curriculum development and instructional improvements.
+ Participate in flight evaluations and readiness-level (RL) progression training.
**Qualifications**
**Required Education:**
+ Bachelor's Degree and nine (9) years of experience; four (4) years of experience in lieu of degree.
**Required Clearance:**
+ Must possess and be able to maintain an active secret clearance (US Citizenship).
**Required Qualifications:**
+ U.S. Army-qualified UH-60M Instructor Pilot (IP) with documented completion of an approved Instructor Pilot Course as well as Instrument Evaluators Course.
+ Extensive flight experience, strong instructional skills, and a deep understanding of aircrew training standards as prescribed by U.S. Army Aviation doctrine.
+ Minimum of 1,000 flight hours in rotary-wing aircraft, including at least 300 hours in the UH-60M, 100 hours as an Instructor Pilot as well as 100 NVG hours.
+ Knowledge of current U.S. Army aviation training doctrine and procedures.
+ Strong verbal and written communication skills.
+ Proficient in Microsoft Office and aviation-related digital systems.
**Desired Qualifications:**
+ Previous experience as a contractor or government civilian IP.
+ Experience with aircrew training programs such as ARMS, DTMS, or TAMIS.
+ Combat experience desired but not required. (Use of ASE and understanding combat maneuvers and operations would be beneficial).
+ Familiar with flight operations in Europe ex. Jeppesen Charts.
+ NVG Instructor Pilot (NVG IP) or Maintenance Test Pilot (MTP) rating.
+ Experience operating the AVCATT, Non-Rated Crew Member Trainer (NCMRT), or other training systems.

+ Analyze the Authorized Project Stockage Levels (APSL)
+ Recommend revision of stockage level in support of Mission, Type, and Design Series (MDS) specific fleets.
+ Expedite the flow of material, parts and assemblies between departments in accordance with production schedules.
+ Ensure proper logistics support is maintained and problems identified
+ Plans, coordinates and evaluates logistics support functions.
+ Coordinates information received, and materials issued and received from various activities and sites concerning logistics operations.

KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
+ Must have current US Passport
+ Knowledge of the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) and related federal and state legislation and regulations.
+ Knowledge of various computer applications such as Microsoft applications (i.e. Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
+ Strong analytical and organizational skills to oversee operations of the logistics organization.
EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION
+ High school education, associate degree a plus.

+ Perform the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance.
+ Install, connect, and adjust complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission: install and align fuselage parts; balances, aligns, and installs tail rotor assemblies; rig complete flight control systems.
+ Incorporate authorized modifications and changes.
+ Make operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources and powered ground equipment.

+ Direct the work of lower-graded mechanics for complete assembly, modification and checkout of the entire aircraft and coordinates with related trades such as electrical, avionics, and sheet metal to assure proper sequence of the complete aircraft assembly process.
+ Knowledge of the makeup, operation, installation and modification of a wide variety of classes, models and series of aircraft, their major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components and related systems.
+ Technical knowledge of the aircraft models and components/sub-assemblies assigned for maintenance, modification and repair.
+ Ability to assemble a variety of system assemblies, and sub-assemblies such as fuel and hydraulic systems, tail boom assemblies, and the power train. Must be able to connect, mesh, align and adjust the system with one another and to determine the sequence of installation of these systems for proper coordination of the entire aircraft assembly process.
+ Able to properly use a variety of common hand tools and measuring devices such as gauges, torque wrenches and scales and test, measurement and diagnostic equipment related to specific aircraft models.
+ Able to trouble shoot and determine when faulty systems or assemblies can/can't be corrected through repair of replacement of new parts and the nature and extent of repair required.
+ Perform other qualified duties as assigned.

+ **A valid (FAA) A&P certificate or FCC License** (with Elements 1 and 3) is Required for hire.
+ **Requirements With a valid FAA (A&P** ): a minimum of Two (2) years aviation maintenance experience, and Two (2) years on the assigned ( **AH-64** ) MDS Mission Design Series is Required.
+ **US Citizenship is Required** to obtain the NAC-I (T-1) Clearance and for base access for this facility in Germany.
+ Must possess a **Valid US Passport.**
+ Perform the full range of military tactical aircraft maintenance with a primary expertise as an **AH-64** mechanic, repair functions including assembly and modification on a variety of Army and other DoD cross-service aircraft, their major assemblies, sub-assemblies, components, and related systems.
+ Install, connect, and adjust complete systems such as fuel, heat, lubrication, hydraulic, engine, and transmission: install and align fuselage parts; balance, align, and install tail rotor assemblies; rig complete flight control systems.
+ Incorporate authorized modifications and changes.
+ Make operational checks of hydraulic and fuel systems using external power sources and powered ground equipment.
+ Inspect and troubleshoot to determine cause of malfunctions; disassemble to point of trouble; adjust, repair, realign or replace defective component or assembly.
+ Must be able to properly use a variety of common hand tools and measuring devices such as gauges torque wrenches and scales and test, measurement and diagnostic equipment related to specific aircraft models.
+ Must be able to determine when faulty systems or assemblies can be corrected through repair of replacement of new parts and the nature and extent of repair required.
+ Must have skill in reading, applying, and interpreting technical data.
+ Prepare forms and records related to aircraft maintenance.
+ Perform additions duties as required.
**Minimum Requirements** :
+ High School Graduate or equivalent is required.
+ Five (5) years of recent applicable aircraft maintenance experience is required.
+ **A valid (FAA) A&P certificate or FCC License** (with Elements 1 and 3) is Required for hire.
+ **Requirements With a valid FAA (A&P** ): a minimum of Two (2) years aviation maintenance experience, and Two (2) years on the assigned ( **AH-64** ) MDS Mission Design Series is Required.
+ All experience must be within the Five (5) most recent years.
+ **Without an FAA A&P:** Must possess or be able to obtain an **FCC License** with (Elements 1 and 3) AND have Three ( **3** ) years Aviation maintenance experience, three ( **3** ) years rotary wing aircraft experience and two ( **2** ) years on the assigned ( **AH-64)** Mission Design Series (MDS) as Required.
+ (If willing and able to obtain an FCC License, please discuss with your Recruiter).
+ Ability to obtain and maintain a US Government Security Clearance, **NAC-I T1** Public Trust. ** **US Citizenship** **is required** to obtain a T1/CAC NACI Clearance, and for facility and base access.
+ Interim NACI approval required for deployment.
+ Valid **US Passport is Required** for deployment to Germany.
**Germany Specific:**
+ TESA Approval: (German Govt) Must be able to qualify for TESA approval; with 5 years career total Aviation maintenance experience.
+ Travel: As required in support of task order.
**Knowledge & Skills**
+ Possess good communication skills; be adaptable, diversified and capable of troubleshooting entire aircraft system.
+ Working knowledge of electrical, electronic, mechanical and associated systems principles to complete properly all probable work tasks.
+ Knowledge of Quality Control, Production and Supply procedures required to perform job assignment.
+ Able to determine when faulty systems or assemblies can be corrected through repair of replacement of new parts and the nature and extent of repair required.
+ Must have skill in reading, applying and interpreting technical data.
**Physical Requirements/Working Environment**
+ Must be able to climb, stand, stoop, bend, stretch, crouch and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
+ Frequently lift parts and equipment up to 20 pounds.
+ Occasionally lift objects up to 50 pounds.
+ Must be immediately deployable to potential combat areas worldwide.
