your responsibilities

Optical adjustment and characterization of lasers including verification and documentationError analysis and correction during development processesDevelopment of medical laser system design by requirement definitionPerformance test of the complete medical deviceEvaluate cooling technologies to utilize it in laser productReport progress of the development resultsclose cooperation within development with other departments both inside and outside the companySupport external research project according set objectivesObservation of trends in optical technologiesReview and analysis of patents and scientific literaturePursuing suggestions for new product ideas and functionsyour profile

Degree in physics or electronical/mechanical engineering or equivalent with strong background in design of opto-mechanical and electrical componentsat least 3 years in R&D of laser-components (optical, electrical, mechanical)Profound knowledge and technical understanding of laser technology, optics and opto-mechanical setups; Knowledge in design of solid-state lasers (flash lamp and diode pumped)knowledge in design of medical devices and analogue electronic circuitsVery good lab skills (problem solving attitude, hands-on mentality, independent working, quality-oriented working style)High level team oriented work, creativity and communication skills as well as self-initiativeVery good written and oral EnglishKnowledge of standards in health care industry (FDA, IEC60601, EN62304)Desirable would be experience in embedded software development (e.g. docklight, labview, python) + CAD tools (e.g.ProEngineerUnser Jobangebot Entwicklungsingenieur für medizinische Laser (m/w/d)klingt vielversprechend?Bei unserem Partner
