• Disciplinary and/or functional management of employees 
• Responsible for budget planning and tracking in the assigned area
• Leading Competence Center to provide Application Technologies like Integration Management, SAP Identity Management, SAP Platform and Cloud Operations and related capabilities to the EK-Group and its affiliates as required
• Engaging appropriate IT Applications and processes, while following the corporate strategy and directives
• Contributing with Competence Center to the IT-Mission and strategic objectives
• Ensuring that business-oriented service-, change- and project management processes are established and the IT-Governance and Compliance requirements are fulfilled. 
• Responsible for Service, Change and Project Management for the business requirements in the assigned functional/technical area
• Standardising and harmonising the systems and applications that are in use, in order to meet business demands
• Keeping track of appl. infrastructure & service lifecycles and managing the potential outcomes accordingly
• Ensuring stable, flawless and secure business operations for the entire application landscape, including backups, the IT continuity plan, disaster recovery etc.
• Providing standard/basic application services such as access management, printing etc.
• Implementing IT security policies including frameworks, changes and measures
• Responsible for application landscape innovation for the entire IT applications area 
• Sourcing, coordinating and/or supervising any external resources or services required
