Purpose Of The Position

Amsterdam (The Netherlands) – We are seeking an enthusiastic Graphic Design Intern to support our MMD Creative Department. As part of our in-house design team, you will be working both independently and collaboratively on multiple projects related to our wide portfolio of monitors and IT accessories. You’ll be part of a multicultural marketing team.

Tasks

Responsibilities

  • Adapt the design/layout for print publications, web use and materials for company events
  • Create images for marketing kits – Web Banners, Print Ads, Rollups
  • Templates and documents for internal communication
  • Cropping, resizing and reformatting variety of online and offline visual assets
  • Creating visuals for gaming booths at events
  • Assure the on-time delivery of assets
  • Creation of website visuals, press release visuals, and video storyboards
Requirements
  • Bachelor student with a graphic design background
  • Be enrolled as a student at a European University
  • Being able to work with a Mac
  • Must be proficient in Adobe programs like InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator
  • Capable of working daily with Excel, Word and PowerPoint
  • Availability of 5-6 months (start in February 2025)
  • Ability to work independently and complete assigned tasks within identified time frames
  • Well organised, dependable and a good eye for details

THE JOB

As an employee of the graphics department, you will actively support the organizer service in creating logo combinations for our ticket media. Your main tasks will include the use of common programs from the Adobe Creative Suite, in particular Photoshop and Illustrator. You will join a creative team focused on developing high-quality designs that reflect our company's brand identity and meet the needs of our customers.

  • Collaborate with team members and clients to understand project requirements and objectives.
  • Use Adobe Creative Suite tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop to execute design concepts.

Requirements

WHAT YOU NEED TO KNOW (or TECHNICAL SKILLS)

  • Ideally Background in Graphic Design or related areas is a plus, but practical experience, a strong portfolio or interest in graphics are valued equally.
  • Genuine enthusiasm for graphic design and ideally expertise in Adobe Creative Suite tools such as InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop.
  • Time management skills, self-organization, and ability to work effectively under deadlines.
  • Comfortable using PC systems, including Windows 11, with a willingness to learn new software tools as needed.
  • Collaborative mindset with the ability to work well in a team environment.
  • Professional working level German and good communication skills in English.
  • Eagerness to learn and adapt to new graphic design techniques and processes.
