ManTech seeks a motivated, career and customer-oriented Security Manager to join our team supporting Marine Corps organizations in Stuttgart, Germany.
This position will assist Marine Corps Deputy Commandant for Information ICD 705 Task Force across all phases to assist receiving units to prepare their classified programs, oversee and document construction, and establish and operate the completed and accredited ICD 705 Sensitive Compartmentalized Information Facilities (SCIFs) and Special Access Control Facilities (SAPFs).
Responsibilities include but are not limited to:
- Serve as Task Force Site Security Manager (SSM) and document delivery of materials, construction during site preparation, structure assembly, and installation of all mechanical, electrical and information technology components.
- Assist Task Force plan and securely transport structures or structure modular segments to receiving units.
- In accordance with ICD 705 technical requirements and other relevant DIA and Navy policies and guidance, maintain oversight of on-site construction activities and best practices for security and personal protection/safety.
- In accordance with ICD 705 technical requirements and other relevant DIA and Navy policies and guidance, provide organized documentation (including construction photos from program provided assets) and feedback capable of supporting respective Authorizing Official (AOs) decisions.
- Assist preparation or updates of formal security paperwork in support of accreditation.
- Assist receiving units with their preparations for the processes and policies required to maintain a SCIF/SAPF.
- Transition into personnel and physical security lead support to effectively operate the accredited facility in accordance with all directives, policies, and best-practices.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree and at least 10+ years’ security experience leading or as part of a team operating SCIF/SAPF or constructing ICD 705 facilities. A total of 14 years’ experience without a degree.
- Formal instruction on construction of ICD 705 structures.
- Ability to perform 5% travel; ability to travel to Marine Corps locations in European theater.
- Experience with MS Word.
Preferred Qualifications:

SOSi is currently seeking an experienced **Information Systems Security Manager** for our team in Ramstein AB, Germany for a temporary, short-term project. The candidate will be responsible for planning, implementation, and maintenance of security measures to protect information technology networks and systems. Works with customers, partners, stakeholders, and team members to develop and implement DoD security procedures.
**Essential Job Duties**
+ Work directly with Security Control Assessor (SCA) / Cyber Risk Assessor (CRA) team to evaluate risk associated with ongoing operational needs.
+ Participate in the planning, design, and implementation of enterprise security architecture.
+ Serve as a Subject Matter Expert with respect to National-level Security Policies to include ICD 503, NIST SP-800 Series, and CNSS Instruction 1253.
+ Communicate and interact with all system stakeholders to include Senior Management, Senior ISSMs/ISSOs and the Authorizing Official.
+ Ensure ISSOs and stakeholders follow all information security policies, standards, and methodologies to obtain and/or maintain security authorizations.
+ Provide support to the Government on all matters (technical and otherwise) involving the cyber security.
+ Assist in the development and execution of an enterprise level continuous monitoring program to minimize security risks and ensure compliance with that program on a routine basis.
+ Support the development and updating of the system security plan, as well as managing and controlling changes to the system and assessing the security impact of those changes.
+ Provide support to plan, coordinate, and implement IT security programs and policies.
+ Provide configuration management guidance for security-relevant information system software, hardware, and firmware.
+ Ensure that protection and detection capabilities are acquired or developed using the information system (IS) security engineering approach and are consistent with organization-level cybersecurity architecture.
+ Establish overall enterprise information security architecture (EISA) with the organization's overall security strategy.
+ Process security requirements relative to the capabilities of new information technologies.
+ Manage threat or target analysis of cyber defense information and production of threat information within the enterprise.
+ Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of the enterprise's cybersecurity safeguards to ensure they provide the intended level of protection.
+ Promote awareness of security issues among management and ensure sound security principles are reflected in the organization's vision and goals.
+ Support policy standards and implementation strategies to ensure procedures and guidelines comply with cybersecurity policies.
+ Ensure plans of actions and milestones or remediation plans are in place for vulnerabilities identified during risk assessments, audits, inspections, etc.
+ Assure successful implementation and functionality of security requirements and appropriate information technology (IT) policies and procedures that are consistent with the organization's mission and goals.
+ Implement and maintain corporate security policies and procedures.
+ Participate in vulnerability audits, investigations and mitigation procedures associated with threat analysis.
+ Support organization-wide training in security awareness, protocols and procedures.
**Minimum Requirements**
+ Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cybersecurity, or a related field; OR equivalent experience.
+ Minimum four years of experience in information security, cybersecurity, or a related role.
+ Must possess at least a final secret security clearance or higher.
+ Experieince with e-MASS, RMF and NIST 800-53, version 4 or higher.
+ Must posses at least an IAT-Level II certification or higher such as Security+.
+ Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
+ Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
+ Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
**Work Environment**
+ This is a temp position which will take place for approximately three to four months.
+ Working conditions are normal for an office environment, with occasional remote work options.
+ May require the ability to lift/and or move computer hardware and office equipment.

- Als IT-Security Manager mit Schwerpunkt ISMS erarbeiten Sie IT-Sicherheitskonzepte und definieren Maßnahmen zur IT-Sicherheit in enger Zusammenarbeit mit den Fachabteilungen.
- Dabei betreuen, evaluieren und entwickeln Sie die bestehenden IT-Sicherheitslösungen und Sicherheitsmaßnahmen (SOC, SIEM, Firewalls, Endpoint Security, NAC etc.) weiter.
- Sie führen GAP-Analysen, Risikobewertungen und interne Audits im Rahmen eines aktiven IT-Riskmanagements durch und verantworten die Betreuung und Weiterentwicklung des Informationssicherheitsmanagementsystems (ISMS).
- Ebenso erstellen und entwickeln Sie interne Richtlinien zur Umsetzung von IT-Sicherheit, Datenschutz und IT-Compliance weiter.
- Sie verantworten die Analyse, Bewertung und Konsolidierung von IT-Schwachstellen, Cyber-Bedrohungslagen und tagesaktuellen Sicherheitswarnungen, steuern das Schwachstellenmanagements, koordinieren Koordination die Pentest-Durchführung sowie die Beseitigung von Findings.
- Zu Ihren Aufgaben zählt auch die Organisation und Sicherstellung der Mitarbeiter-/Anwender-Awareness in Bezug auf IT-Sicherheit und Datenschutz, Erstellung von Schulungs-Content für die digitale Lernplattform sowie Mitarbeit bei der Umsetzung eines Business Continuity Management Systems (BCMS) und für die Entwicklung von betrieblichen Alarmsystemen und der Modellierung von Alarmszenarien.
- Mehrjährige Berufserfahrung im Bereich Informationssicherheit und Datenschutz
- Idealerweise haben Sie einschlägige Zertifizierungen
- Querschnittliche Kenntnisse der Datenschutzgesetzgebung und Datenschutzverordnungen sowie einschlägigen Normen
- Gute Deutschkenntnisse in Wort und Schrift

Role Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced IT Security Specialist (A4 Level) to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality and compliance of IT security processes, managing security inquiries, and driving continuous improvement in line with ISO 27001 and IT-Grundschutz standards.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and track quality assurance measures for IT security processes.
- Independently classify, validate (ISMS compliance), and process IT security inquiries.
- Develop work packages based on IT-Grundschutz and ISO 27001 frameworks and manage them via ticketing systems.
- Create and maintain comprehensive documentation and professional presentations.
- Maintain and enhance the existing Security Management Enquiry System, covering:
- Guideline / Control Management
- IT Risk Management
- IT Security Service & Support
- Coordinate and lead regular national and international meetings focused on IT security topics.
- Develop and optimize IT security support processes across global teams.
- Draft and implement ISMS-related guidelines and controls in accordance with ISO 27001 and other regulatory requirements.
- Collect and analyze KPIs within the Internal Control System (ICS) framework.
- Independently track and manage corrective measures in case of deviations.
- Compile and maintain IT security KPI reports and derive actionable insights for continuous improvement.
Professional Requirements
- Minimum 2 years of experience in IT Service Management.
- At least 1 year of hands-on experience in IT system operations or IT security.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to engage across all organizational levels, both nationally and internationally.
- Solid understanding of technical and functional solutions in IT control centers.
- Familiarity with IT operations processes and activities.
- Proven experience in setting up and managing action tracking systems.
Certifications
- ITIL Foundation Certification (minimum ITIL v3)
- PRINCE2 Certification
- Certified ISMS Training in accordance with ISO/IEC 27001
Project Management Requirements
- Demonstrated experience in sub-project management .
- Ideally holds a Junior Project Management Certification .
- Experience in technical project management is a plus.
- Successfully delivered at least one IT security or infrastructure project (~30 person-days).
- Familiarity with project structures and JIRA boards .
